Located in the ‘cosmopolitan’ Pyrgos neighbourhood in the Lemesos (Limassol) region, Aoratoi is a beach of exceptional natural beauty and an unusual coastal personality, flanked by prestigious hotel accommodations.
The beach is equipped with eco-friendly restrooms, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, and a water sports centre. The few restaurant facilities are located further west, closer to the main road. Consequently, most beachgoers choose to bring a picnic.
From April through October, lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach. The beach also provides accessible access, including a special wheelchair at the lifeguard tower to allow disabled individuals in entering the water with the help of the lifeguards.
Access is convenient by foot, bicycle, or automobile, and parking is available. All of Lemesos’s primary beaches are connected by a 14-kilometer path that begins on the shore and runs into the town’s interior.
Pissouri Bay, located 30 kilometres west of Lemesos and halfway between Lemesos and Pafos (Paphos), is the hamlet of Pissouri’s tourist destination. The coast’s popularity has skyrocketed due to its breathtaking natural beauty and the presence of resort facilities.
The beach has beautiful, golden sand, small, multicoloured pebbles, and relatively calm, clean waves. It is one of the most scenic coastlines on the island, thanks to the stunning white cliffs of Cape Aspro (Cape ‘white’).
The beach is equipped with restrooms, showers, sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports, and a beach volleyball court. There are five public walkways, two of which are accessible to people with disabilities.
