A beach teeming with life and action. The 400-meter-long, sandy Municipal Beach in the Pafos (Paphos) neighbourhood of Geroskipou is a hub of activity, holding everything from water sports and sporting events to concerts. The beach’s lush green/golden sands and calm, shallow waters make it a popular destination for everyone, especially young families. There are restrooms, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, garbage cans, recycling bins, water sports, and a children’s playground on the beach. There are more restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bar kiosks, convenience stores, and hotels in the area. Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed on the beach from April to October. Access is convenient via foot, bicycle, bus, or car, and parking is available.
