OVERVIEW
A beautiful beach in the centre of the Pafos (Paphos) tourism district.
The 200-meter-long coastline of Alykes, located in the tourist region of Kato Pafos, features deep golden beaches, calm, pure waters, and lush vegetation.
On the beach, there are restrooms, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, trash cans, and water sports. In the neighbourhood, there are also a variety of restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, pubs, kiosks, convenience stores, and lodging.
From April through October, lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach.
The beach is an excellent starting place for seeing some of the area’s most famous sites, such as the mediaeval castle and its lovely harbour, the Pafos mosaics, and the Tombs of the Kings archaeological site.
Access is convenient by foot, bicycle, bus, or vehicle, with parking and a bus stop close.
