The 300-meter long beach of Vathia Gonia, located 2.2 kilometers west of the tourist town of Agia Napa, is a magnificent coastline length that lies 400 meters east of the more populated Nissi Bay. It is covered in beautiful, golden sands and its crystal-clear seawaters are reasonably tranquil as a sandy beach with a natural rocky harbour. At the beach, there are no headwinds at all. Toilets, changing rooms, sun loungers, umbrellas, and water sports equipment are available on the beach, and nearby there is lodging and a variety of eateries. On the beach, an innovative system (Seatrac) that provides handicapped people with self-contained full access to the water has been installed. From April through October, lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach. There is simple access by foot, bike, or automobile, and parking is available.
