OVERVIEW
The beach’s golden sands. Nissi Beach, a 600-meter-long beach located 3.3 kilometres west of the centre of the popular tourist town of Agia Napa, is among the most famous in the region, attracting enormous crowds with its seductive combination of stunning coastline, music, clubs, and beach parties. The beach is comprised of fine, golden sand and is formed within a natural harbour with wind-protected waters that are modest and peaceful. It is part of the broader Nissi Beach region and derives its name from the surrounding little island (‘nissi’ in Greek). On the beach, there are restrooms, changing rooms, sun loungers, umbrellas, water sports equipment, beach bars, a diving school, and organised events; nearby, there are a variety of hotels, restaurants, and kiosks. From April through October, lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach. Access is convenient by foot, bicycle, or automobile, and parking is available. The beach also provides access for people with disabilities.
