The Transfiguration of the Savior Church is found in the eastern Trodos Mountains. It is perched on a small hill overlooking the eastern section of the Palaichori village. In 2000, it was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It was constructed at the start of the sixteenth century and is a single-aisled church with a wooden roof, typical of the Troodos region. The narthex was built at the beginning of the 17th century.
